Rules and RegulationsSupplies: A Deck of Cards / Lot's and lot's of Alcohol (preferably beer) Game Instructions: The dealer deals out four cards to every player at the table face down, then places the remaining cards in the center and turns the top card over. The players can then glance at one of their cards but only once. The object of this game is to get the lowest hand possible. Aces are one and face cards are ten. The dealer starts by either taking a new card off the top of the deck or takes the top card off the discard pile. You must only have four cards in your hand at one time so you must discard one of your cards in your hand. This a complicated task considering you have no clue if what you're discarding is a low card or not; unless the card you are getting rid of was the card you glanced at in the beginning. Play continues in this way with the players either taking from the discard pile or from the deck. When a player believes he or she has the lowest hand they must call out "Golf" on their turn. After "Golf" has been called out all the other players get one more turn and then must turn their cards over. Each player then adds up the total of all their cards; the one with the lowest hand wins, while the others must drink. So, if your cards total 16 then you must drink for 16 seconds depending on how slow or fast the player who won counts. He continues counting until the player with the highest hand finishes his or her fill. One more note, if the player who called out "Golf" ends up losing the round because his or her hand was not the lowest, then he or she shall consume double what the hand is worth. If two people should tie; then the tie breaker is decided by who draws the lower card from the unused cards from the deck. |
