Drunk Driver

Rules and Regulations

** There are two different versions of this game **

Supplies:

A Deck of Cards / Lot's and lot's of Alcohol (preferably beer)

Game Instructions:

Version #1:

Are you ready to get really messed up? Is that a "yes", I hear? Great! Then let's get started. First things first you will need a deck of cards two people (you and someone else) and lot's of beer. It wouldn't be wise to consume hard alcohol with this game. Now, who wants to drive? Someone has to be the "driver" and the other the "dealer". Once you have settled on this, the game begins with the dealer placing 15 cards face down in a straight vertical line on the table with the first card closest to the driver and the last card closest to the dealer. The driver is now ready to start the ignition by turning over the card closest to him or her.

Here comes the fun part, if the card is anything other then a face card the driver lives to see another day and turns over the next card in line. If the next card is a "Jack" then the driver must consume one drink of his or her beer and the dealer will add one card to the end of the line. If the card is a "Queen" the driver will consume two drinks and the dealer will add two cards to the end of the line. If it's a "King" the driver must consume three drinks and the dealer must add three cards to the end of the line. If the card is an "Ace" the driver will consume four drinks and the dealer will add four cards to the end.

Now, I bet you're wondering what the hell is the object to this game? Well, for your information Mr. Drunk Driver the object is to get to the end of the line before the dealer runs out of cards. If the dealer finishes the deck before the driver has turned over all the cards, then he or she must consume a full drink. There is some good news to the drivers misery. Once the deck has been played to the end, the roles are reversed, the driver becomes the dealer and the dealer the driver.

Version #2:

Six cards are placed face down on the table in a vertical line. The driver then turns over the card closest to him or her. Depending on the card's face value, the driver must guess whether the next card he or she turns over will be higher or lower than the last card they turned over. If the driver guesses right then the game continues with the driver turning over the next card in line without consuming, however, if the driver is wrong then he/she must consume the number of drinks the last card they ended on. For example, if the driver made it to the third card in the line without being wrong then the driver must consume three drinks one for each card. The dealer then replaces the uncovered cards with new cards, except for the first one, this is the card in which you will build on again.

Now, if doubles are uncovered (like two fives in a row), the driver must drink double the amount that he or she would have drank if they had got it wrong.

If an 8 is revealed the driver must drink double the required amount and start all over with fresh new cards.

If the driver happens to be lucky and unveil all six cards in a row correctly, then he or she wins the game. If the driver doesn't beat the dealer before the deck has all been played out, then he or she is declared a "drunk driver" and must consume and full drink. The cards are then reshuffled and the once again he or she must drive until they have beaten the dealer.
