Rules and RegulationsSupplies: * Shot glass * Coffee Mug * Beer Mug * Pitcher * A Quarter Game Instructions: Grab a couple players, as few as two to however many want to play. Divide up into teams. Next, take all your different sized shot glasses and line them up in a row starting with the smallest one first. Fill each of them with beer. Now, as you have probably already guessed, each glass represents a baseball hit: * Shot glass - Single * Coffee Mug - Double * Beer Mug - Triple * Pitcher - Home Run Each team must now establish a batting order. Once this crucial task has been accomplished play begins with the first batter on one of the teams. Each team has three chances or outs to bounce the quarter into one of the glasses. The hitter must not bounce the quarter closer than a foot away from the first glass (i.e. the shot glass). If the hitter should make the quarter into one of the glasses, then the opposing team must drink that glass and all the glasses that fall behind it in line. Once they have finished drinking, the glasses should be replenished and put back into line for the next batter up. If the batter bounces the quarter and it fails to go into one of the glasses, then this is considered an out and the quarter is thus passed onto the next batter in line, however, if he/she should make it then the quarter is passed on and the inning continues until three hitters have missed the glasses. Scoring goes as follows: * A double followed by a single puts a man on third. * A single followed by a triple scores a man and leaves one on third. * A home run clears the bases of all runners and so forth. At the end of nine innings all the runs are added up and the losing team must then drink all of the glasses one more time. |
